A plain-English field guide · GenAI Security Project
THE LAST
JUDGMENT
Artificial intelligence can now write, talk, and take action on its own. That's exciting - and a little scary. This site explains, in plain language, the ways it can go wrong, and the simple habits that keep it safe.
No Apocalypse Required
AI is not a villain. It's a tool - and like any powerful tool, it's only as safe as the person using it.
The real risk isn't that machines become conscious and turn on us. It's far more ordinary: we let them hold our passwords, our money, our decisions, and our secrets before we stopped to ask what could go wrong.
The good news: every problem on this site has already happened to someone, and every one of them already has a fix. None of this requires a PhD. It requires a few minutes and a little healthy caution.
So think of this not as a warning of doom, but as a manual - written before the machine got ahead of us.

This isn't a doomsday timer. It's a reminder that the best time to learn good habits is before you need them.
The ink isn't dry yet. Nothing here is inevitable.
The future of AI will be decided by ordinary choices: whether we read the manual before handing over the keys. That's all it takes to turn a scary story into a happy one.
